Day 1 :Rome
Arrive Rome at 01:20 PM. After the Emigration we will start our guided tour of visiting all the Major Churches in Rome Holy steps (scala Santa)John the Lateran Cathedral ,visit the basilica of Holy Cross in Jerusalem , and outside View of Colosseum.St. Paul’s Church. After tour you will have Dinner and Overnight at Rome.
Day 2 & 3: Vatican Museum – St. Peters Basilica – Catacombs – Rome
Papal Audience. After lunch we will visit the Vatican Museums and a large part of the Vatican City, one of the European microstates, situated on the Vatican Hill. Leaving the Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses’ Fountain we will visit the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Galleries (lines possible at the entrance). There you will admire the modern entrance built for the Jubilee 2000, the Galleries of the Chandeliers, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. We will then stop to admire the Sistine Chapel, seat of the Conclave, with the famous frescoes of Michelangelo. Passing inside the Vatican Museums we will arrive into the Basilica of Saint Peter, commonly called Saint Peter’s Basilica, is one of four major basilicas of Rome. It is the most prominent building inside the Vatican City and built on the ruins of Old Saint Peter’s Basilica. After Basilica We will proceed to Trevi Fountain (If it is Working because now under renovation) where we will stop for a visit. Then we have Catacombs visit with Mass After tour you will have Dinner and Overnight at Rome.
Day 4: Assisi – Pisa
Today breakfast at Hotel or Packed Breakfast and check out and after that proceed to Assisi You will have a Guided Tour of Assisi ,where our sightseeing includes visits to the Church of St. Clare which houses her incorrupt body. One of the chapels contains the crucifix that bowed its head and ordered St. Francis to “repair God’s Church.” Afterwards, we proceed to the Basilica of St. Francis, built in 1228 to house the Relics of the saint. The “upper” basilica houses beautiful frescoes of Giotto. Before leaving Assisi, we visit the Church of Santa Maria Degli Angeli, containing the famous Porziuncola. This very ancient chapel, venerated for an apparition of angels within it, was originally property of the Benedictines of Subasio. It was located on a piece of land known as the Portiuncula; this name became attached to the chapel. After a long period of abandonment, it was restored by St. Francis. Here, he was given a dear understanding of his vocation. He founded here the Order of Friars Minor (1209), “establishing here his home then Dinner and Overnight in Then proceed to Pisa On arrival to Pisa, proceed to visit view the Leaning Tower of Pisa Dinner at Hotel and overnight at Pisa.
Day 5: Pisa – Padua – Milan
After Breakfast, we will drive to Padua (Approx. 3hrs 45 mins) on arrival we will have early lunch and later we will visit The Shrine of St Anthony of Padua and Possibly a mass near The Shrine of St. Anthony.Later after the visit and mass we will drive to Milan (Approx. 3hrs 30 mins) you will visit the city of Milan. The hard-working Milanese runs their busy metropolis with efficiency and aplomb. Milano is the country’s economic engine room, home to Italy’s stock market and business centre. Our panoramic visit includes the Scala, Duomo and the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Dinner will be at a Restaurant in Milan and Overnight at Milan.
Day 6 : Milan -Lucerne – Jungfraujoch – Lucerne
After breakfast Visit Jungfraujoch – top of Europe, en-route visit Trummelbach Glacial Waterfalls. Take a Cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen to Europe’s highest railway station Jungfraujoch via Kleine Scheidegg station. Visit Ice Palace with Ice sculptures and Sphinx Terrace. Drive through Interlaken city.Overnight stay at Lucerne.
Day 7 : Lucerne – Mt. Titlis – Zurich
Visit Engelberg – Mt. Titlis to experience ‘Rotair Titlis’ – World’s 1st Revolving cable car ride (45 mins) to Mt. Titlis and visit Ice Grotto, thrilling Ice Flyer ride and Snow sliding (subject to operation). Lucerne city orientation tour includes Lion Monument and Kappelbrucke Wooden Bridge. Free time for shopping. Enjoy Lake Lucerne Dinner cruise with Swiss Folklore show. Arrive in Zurich in the evening.Overnight stay at Zurich.
Day 8 – Avignon – Montpellier
After Breakfast, You will drive to Avignone (Approx.7hrs.) Lunch will be en route, we Visit thePalais des Papes ( POPES PALACE ). After Tour we drive to Montpellier(Approx. 2hrs) Dinner and overnight at Montpellier’
Day 9:Montpellier – Lourdes
After Breakfast, We drive to Lourdes (Approx. 5 hrs.) Lunch will be Hotel in Lourdes. You will be given the full day free to spend on Religious Activities on your own. You can Visit the sites of Lourdes where, in 1858, Mary appeared to young Bernadette Soubirous. Also visit the Grotto, the Spring, as well as the Basilica of St. Pius X, the Rosary Basilica and Bernadette’s home You can go for the Candlelight Procession around 9pm Dinner and overnight at Lourdes.
Day 10: Lourdes – Paris
After Breakfast, We drive to Paris (Approx.9 to 10 hrs.) Lunch will be Packed or En-route. Visit Eiffel tower 2nd Level (With Line ) Indian Dinner at Restaurant and Overnight at Hotel Paris.
Day 11:Paris
After Breakfast,we proceed for a Half Day Tour of Paris with Guide. Here we get to see many of its masterpieces such as the Louvre Museum*outside view and the Arc de Triomphe are iconic buildings, Pont-Neuf , Place de la Concorde – Petit et Grand Palais – Avenue des Champs-Elysées – Invalides – Cathédrale Notre-Dame. The Sacre Coeur Basilica on top of Montmartre Hill. After Tourwe will proceed for the River Seine Cruise.. Dinner at an Indian and Overnight at Paris
Day 12:Paris – Cochin
After Breakfast check out proceed to Airport for final departure back to India.
Day 13 : Arrive Cochin
